At The Lamb & Flag in Taunton, we pride ourselves on our rich history and warm atmosphere. Our country pub has been a beloved local spot for years, serving delicious food for lunch and dinner along with a wide selection of drinks. We also host regular events with local musicians, and a very entertaining quiz night.

Our menu features a variety of pub classics with a modern twist. We use only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients and offer a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options. Our bar features a rotating selection of great ales and a carefully curated wine list.

Downhill Festival at The Lamb and Flag

DOWNHILL FESTIVAL Friday 12th - 14th June 2027

Set at the foot of the Blackdown Hills with a classic, country pub vibe of Blagdon Hill,  comes a laid-back music, cider and ale festival celebrating great live bands and even better beer. Come and enjoy a weekend of incredible local musicians, hand-pulled local ales and ciders, a delicious selection of street food, and a friendly crowd..... a perfect way to soak up the sounds while sampling new brews.
